Requirements

Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
Have previous manufacturing experience of at least 6 months
Have forklift experience
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Have basic math, communications and mechanical skills
Be capable of managing multiple tasks
Demonstrate good knowledge of Microsoft Suite (MS Office) programs

Nice To Haves

Understanding of 5S workplace
Knowledge of TPM
Ability to work 10-hour shifts
Ability to work overtime and on weekends

Responsibilities

Following batch instructions to weight batches, charge and mix inks
Understanding proper mixing procedures and raw materials
Monitoring temperature and mix speeds and adjusting as needed
Following procedures for milling inks, adjusting pump speeds and mill rates
Following procedures to filter, package and label inks
Making QC adjustments as instructed
Weighting quantities of raw materials for use in the manufacturing of high quality printing ink
Operating one or more mixers in a safe and efficient manner to mix raw materials for the manufacturing of high quality printing ink
Packaging the finished product
Operating a forklift
