About The Position
Develops, coordinates, implements and maintains the injury prevention programs and participates in community injury prevention programs based on Trauma Registry data and the needs of the community.
Requirements
- Bachelor's of Science in Health or related field.
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- 2 years recent relevant experience
- Knowledge of local community and community agencies
- Medical terminology
- Knowledge of Computer software including (word, excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiar with professional desktop publishing (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, PageMaker) software
- Website development : Teamsite and Sharepoint
- Grant Writing
- Public speaking
- Must possess verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with external and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to express complex issues in understandable ways.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to anticipate proactively resolve issues.
- Ability to recognize and take advantage of opportunities that will enhance the injury prevention program and the image of the Trauma Center and assigned Affiliate.
- Organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines and respond quickly and effectively.
