The Injury Prevention Specialist/Athletic Trainer position at ATI in Arkansas City, KS, is a full-time role focused on promoting musculoskeletal health and preventing workplace injuries.   • Interface with office and industrial clients to assess employee health status and create individualized improvement plans.
  • Observe employee work performance to assess body mechanics, determine risk, and create mitigation plans.
  • Perform and document all employee treatments efficiently and completely, integrating feedback through coaching for continuous improvement.
  • Understand OSHA recordkeeping rules as they pertain to first aid (29 CFR 1904.7).
  • Proactively address discomfort through education and job-specific coaching to eliminate injury contributions.
  • Assist with medical surveillance testing and clinic operations.
  • Identify, develop, and provide employee health education and training on wellness and disease prevention topics.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Athletic Training.
  • Associates degree as a PTA with licensure; or Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science/Athletic Training/Kinesiology/Allied Health; or 2 years experience in a Military healthcare setting.
  • Discipline-specific license or certification as appropriate.
  • Basic Life Support and AED Certification.
  • BOC certified or eligible to sit for BOC preferred.
