About the role HealthFitness is hiring a fill-in (# of hours depends on demand) Injury Prevention Professional to join our team at client sites in Anna, OH and/or Russells Point, OH. If you’re seeking a flexible side opportunity and want to make a real impact in the prevention of work-related injuries, we’d love to hear from you! This position is based in a manufacturing environment, so adaptability and a proactive approach are essential. Hours: # of hours depends on demand Schedule: Varies, shifts available between the hours of 5:30a-10:30p

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, or Exercise Science or other related field.
  • Current Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.
  • Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

Nice To Haves

  • Work experience in a clinical environment (occupational therapy, physical therapy, cardiac rehab, nursing).
  • 2-3 years’ experience in corporate based health and fitness program.
  • Understanding of Biomechanics, occupational safety and proficient in exercise prescription.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the creation and implementation of programs focused on the prevention of work injuries, physical conditioning, and employee education and wellness.
  • Conducts employee injury prevention programs, education, and training.
  • Develops exercise programs specific to injury prevention and conditioning needs.
  • Collects and document appropriate program data to support the ROI process.
  • Develop, promote, and market wellness and general education programs.
  • Supports employee healthcare teams with job function assessment, incident investigation and care management.
  • Other duties as needed/assigned.
