About The Position

HealthFitness is hiring an Injury Prevention Coordinator at our client site in Russells Point, OH (approximately 25 miles southeast of Lima). This role is well‑suited for professionals with experience or education in industrial ergonomics, biomechanics, kinesiology, athletic training, or personal training who enjoy hands‑on work in an active environment. You’ll work onsite in a manufacturing environment, partnering directly with employees to reduce injury risk and promote safe movement at work. ✅ Monday–Friday schedule (5:30a–2p) ✅ Free onsite gym membership ✅ Full benefits, PTO, volunteer time off, certification & tuition reimbursement ✅ No nights, no weekends In collaboration with client's employee healthcare team, develops, coordinates, and evaluates programs focused on the prevention of work-related injuries, physical conditioning, and employee education and wellness within the manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Exercise Science, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or a related field.
  • 2+ years’ experience in health and fitness.
  • Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of Occupational Safety (not required)
  • Work experience in a clinical environment; occupational therapy, physical therapy, cardiac rehab, nursing (not required)

Responsibilities

  • Conducts employee injury prevention programs, education, and training.
  • Leads the development and implementation of interventions/programs focused on the manufacturing environment to meet client objectives.
  • Assists employee healthcare teams with job function assessment, incident investigation and care management.
  • Collect and evaluate program data to support ROI process, manages and reports data for their assigned plant.
  • Develop, promote, and market wellness and general education programs.
  • Other duties as needed/assigned.
