An Injector (Nurse Practitioner) at Weiler Plastic Surgery provides services to patients including consultation and assessment, diagnosis and treatment, design of treatment programs, implementation and supervision of the treatment program, and educational programs.

  • Implementation of surgical wound closure and maintenance, Sclerotherapy, neurotoxin treatments, dermal filler injections, and laser treatment of vascular and pigmented lesions and any other medical/laser procedure considered routine and consistent within scope of practice in a medical aesthetic and plastic surgery practice;
  • Assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of plastic surgery and aesthetic patients for all services offered by Weiler Plastic Surgery. Services include facial surgical procedures, Sclerotherapy, neurotoxin injections, dermal filler injections, chemical peels, laser tattoo removal, intense pulsed light therapy, laser hair removal and laser treatment of vascular and pigmented lesions and any other medical/laser procedures considered routine and consistent within scope of practice in a plastic surgery and medical aesthetic practice.
  • Ensure completion of all required documentation of patient care activities
  • Assessment of medical history, pre and post surgical instructions, consent forms, and prescriptions with clients during the pre-operative visit
  • Responsible for post surgical suture removal
  • Ensure pre and post surgical operative protocols photos are taken and properly filed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Current or projected certification and licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner
  • Master of Science in Nursing from accredited college or university (Or Projected to receive degree)
  • Board Certifications from either AANP or ANCC (Or Projected to receive certification)
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 15lbs.
  • Role will be subject to an office clinical environment which is subject to indoor conditions.
  • Physical demands include but are not limited to standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, manual dexterity, stooping, kneeling, crouching, vision acuity, talking and hearing.
  • Prior related experience is preferred
