About The Position

Rotating schedule of 12 hour shifts Mon-Tues-Sat-Sun THEN Wed-Thurs-Friday 36 hour work week gets a 4-hour kicker Position Summary: Produce quality ceramic cores using Injection Machines. Prepare dies, obtain materials and inject part according to procedure.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 35 pounds
• Must be detail oriented and well organized
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Must be self-directed to accomplish goals with minimal supervision
• Basic math skills required.
• Operators need to be able to comprehend and read procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Mold or plastic injection experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow written procedures to manufacture quality ceramic cores operating Injection Machines.
• Produce quantities within set standards of each part number, identify core defects and maintain accurate records (routers, CQCS, etc)
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Monitor material levels and replace as needed
• Must assist Engineers, Quality and Manufacturing as needed.
• Must follow and adhere to all safety procedures.
• Maintain department standards for housekeeping/6S
• Other duties as assigned by supervision
