About The Position
The position involves performing mold changeovers, determining part defects, identifying root causes, and implementing appropriate corrective actions. The role requires preventative maintenance of injection molds, which includes scheduled inspections, disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of intricate mold tooling. The individual will verify mold tooling dimensional conformance to print tolerances using reliable measurement techniques and document detailed work performed on mold tooling maintenance work orders. Additionally, the role includes setting up and operating molding machinery and supporting equipment, assisting with scheduled preventative maintenance functions, and working closely with setup technicians and operators to ensure proper operation of equipment. Compliance with OSHA regulations and maintaining good housekeeping practices are essential. Knowledge of Environmental Health & Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices is also required.
