About The Position
We’re looking for an experienced Injection Molding Technician to support daily molding operations and help keep production running safely and efficiently. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone with strong injection molding experience who is ready to take on a lead role.
Requirements
- Injection molding experience required (2+ years preferred)
- Strong understanding of molding processes and troubleshooting
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical skills
- Willingness to learn leadership and supervisory responsibilities
- Basic computer skills (production reporting, email)
- Ability to work safely around industrial machinery
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Responsibilities
- Set up, start up, shut down, and adjust injection molding machines
- Troubleshoot molding defects and process issues
- Perform mold changes and maintain process settings
- Monitor machine parameters, cycle times, and material flow
- Handle materials (drying, color changes, resin identification)
- Perform in-process quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications
- Support production teams during your shift and help assign daily tasks
- Communicate production goals, quality standards, and safety expectations
- Follow safety procedures and promote a safe work environment
- Work with Maintenance and Quality to resolve equipment or process issues
