Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in injection molding setup and troubleshooting
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Able to read blueprints and understand molding process documentation
  • Basic use of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Forklift experience and reliable transportation (some local supplier trips required)

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or equivalent in a relevant technical field and/or 2+ years experience in a related position
  • Experience in a regulated environment (ISO, FDA, GMP)
  • Basic machining skills and knowledge of thermoplastics
  • Completed advanced training in injection molding processes

Responsibilities

  • Set up, heat up, start up, and operate injection molding presses and related equipment
  • Perform mold installations, cavity/core changeovers, and preventive maintenance
  • Troubleshoot process and equipment issues with precision and urgency
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Production to meet quality and production goals
  • Train and support machine operators during production runs
  • Perform and evaluate first shots during job start-up
  • Keep your workspace clean, safe, and aligned with GMP and ISO standards
