The Injection Molding Process Technician is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the injection molding process, which includes setups, troubleshooting, operation, and maintenance of injection mold equipment. This role requires a minimum of three years of experience in the field, ensuring that the technician is well-versed in the intricacies of injection molding. The technician will be tasked with running new product trials as required, making necessary machine adjustments, and managing injection pressure and cycle times for a wide range of plastic materials. This is crucial to ensure the proper quality and functionality of the molded parts produced. In addition to the operational responsibilities, the technician will also be involved in programming robots and may be required to build the end of arms for robotic applications. The role may also include participation in preventative and corrective action projects, aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the injection molding processes. The position is full-time and requires flexibility in shift availability, including day, night, and overnight shifts, with a preference for candidates who can accommodate all shifts. The work environment is hands-on and requires a strong attention to detail, as the technician will be responsible for ensuring that all processes meet the required standards for quality and safety. The technician will work closely with other team members and departments to ensure seamless operations and to address any issues that may arise during the production process.
