About The Position

Shape what moves the world — join ConMet in Canton Step onto the production floor of our Canton facility and into the heart of the Molding Department. As an Injection Molding Press Technician, you’ll guide parts from press to package, keeping quality, safety, and efficiency front and center every moment of your shift. A day in the role You begin by reviewing work instructions and prepping your station. Throughout the day, you: Examine molded components, assemble as required, then label and package to specification. Capture accurate production counts and scrap data to keep performance transparent. Hit established output and quality targets while supporting continuous flow. Keep your area orderly and audit-ready. Escalate equipment or part issues to your lead or supervisor when they can’t be resolved at the station. Work safely at all times, following plant environmental and safety procedures without exception.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• At least 12 months of relevant manufacturing experience or training.
• Comfort navigating basic computer screens and using a labeling scan gun.
