About The Position

Skillforce is seeking experienced Injection Molding / Blow Molding Maintenance Technicians to support an automotive manufacturing plant during a critical ownership transition. This is a long-term contract opportunity (60+ days) where technicians will play a key role in maintaining operations, troubleshooting equipment, and effectively running the plant during the transition period. This role requires highly skilled, self-sufficient professionals who can work independently and take ownership of daily operations.

Requirements

Prior injection molding experience required
Experience with blow molding machines strongly preferred
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Comfortable taking ownership in a transitional plant environment
Willingness to work extended schedules and overtime

Nice To Haves

Injection Molding: Toshiba, Milacron
Blow Molding: Uniloy, Davis Standard
(Experience with other brands is acceptable)

Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and operate injection molding and blow molding machinery
Ensure consistent production and equipment uptime during plant transition
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on molding equipment
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
Support production needs and maintain safe operating conditions
Operate with minimal supervision while helping sustain plant operations
Maintain documentation related to maintenance and equipment performance
