About The Position
As a Process Technician Level 3 at Aerotek, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that injection molding presses are started and running according to standard processes. Your primary responsibility will be to troubleshoot any molding machines that are not meeting the required standards, ensuring that parts are produced within specifications for size, appearance, flash, splay, and cycle time. You will be tasked with developing and maintaining standard operator instructions and process setup sheets, which are essential for the effective training and development of all mold operators. In this position, you will work with a variety of engineering-type materials, including but not limited to PVC, ABS, PC, PP, Flame retardant ABS, and Flame retardant PC Valox. You will actively participate in developing action plans to resolve issues related to safety, quality, production, delivery, and the 5S methodology. Additionally, you will prepare maintenance work orders and ensure compliance with Preventive Maintenance programs, documenting any improvements and problems encountered with molds, presses, and secondary processes. You must be capable and willing to perform all duties associated with changing injection molds, which includes material setup, mold change, setting processes to the black book, and inspecting parts for quality adherence. Your active participation in the 5S program will also be a key aspect of your role, contributing to a clean and organized work environment.
