About The Position

MMI Engineered Solutions is growing and looking for driven Mold Setter to join our team at our plastic injection molding manufacturing facility in Saline, Michigan. You'll be responsible for installing and setting up molds according to process specifications and ensuring quality production from start to finish. You'll collaborate with your shift team to maintain smooth operations and deliver high-quality parts on time.

Requirements

We're looking for candidates with 2-5 years of plastic injection molding experience.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to read and follow technical instructions and documentation
Solid teamwork, communication, and time management skills
Basic math and computer literacy (spreadsheets, word processing, etc.)

Nice To Haves

Forklift and Overheard Crane experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Set and change molds according to process guidelines.
Prepare all necessary equipment and accessories for each mold setup, including temperature controllers, hoses, and fixtures.
Follow all safety protocol like Lock-Out Tag-Out during mold installation.
Coordinate with setup team to prepare tools and equipment for upcoming jobs.
Tear down and store molds and equipment properly after job completion.
Stop mold installation if there is a quality issue with the mold or if installation presents a safety concern.
