Injection Engineer Location: Toledo, OHPosition Start Date: May 2026 Activities Participate in the validation of injection tool concepts. Contribute to defining the injection system for assigned projects. Provide technical recommendations to support project objectives for Quality, Cost, and Lead Time. Offer innovative ideas and technical solutions that add value to the project. Serve as the primary technical contact for toolmakers throughout the project lifecycle. Support the tool purchasing team with technical insights and expertise. Utilize department database tools daily (TCRD, FAC, Action Plans, trial evaluations, etc.). Organize and lead Trial Preparation Meetings; oversee Injection Tool trial activities. Participate in tool trials and drive necessary actions to meet trial targets established during Trial Preparation Meetings, following all safety regulations. Contribute to wash‑up meetings and tuning loops to analyze trial results with the core project team. Update the project action plan (FAC) and communicate relevant information to toolmakers. Oversee the factory tool transfer stage, ensuring tool and injection process reliability align with factory specifications. Document lessons learned (best practices and issues) and share them with the Injection & Tooling Expertise Group. Participate in customer initial sample part validations (PPAP, PVS, etc.). Update departmental databases, including raw material and shrinkage information. Adhere to Division Quality Systems and Optimap procedures. Use available POAE working tools (quality procedures, Keops, Optimap, Optisup, etc.). May participate in global injection molding meetings (worldwide).
