Requirements

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Design, or a closely related engineering discipline.
  • Background in designing, industrialization, or engineering roles within a production environment.
  • Ability to develop, review, and interpret 2D drawings and 3D models for components and assemblies.
  • Exposure to fast prototyping techniques (e.g., 3D printing)

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience in tooling or machinery design, including development and interpretation of technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in 3D design software such as AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and filling operations, preferably within packaging, cosmetics, or consumer goods environments.
  • Familiarity with industrialization activities such as line trials, changeovers, and technical validation.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute actively to engineering and design tooling related to the industrialization of new initiatives components, acting as a technical reference within assigned projects.
  • Support and coordinate the validation of components such as glass bottles, folding cartons, and other cosmetic packaging components (e.g., pumps, caps, labels), from concept definition to implementation on production lines.
  • Develop, review, and validate 2D drawings and 3D models (components and assemblies), ensuring alignment with operational, quality, and industrial constraints.
  • Apply 3D printing and fast prototyping techniques to validate concepts, assess fit and functionality, and accelerate development and decision-making for new initiatives.
  • Interface with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility, manufacturability, and timely execution of designed solutions.
  • Manage industrialization tasks to ensure delivery in line with project objectives and KPIs (Safety, Cost, Quality, OEE).
  • Execute and follow up activities during Line Trials (LT) and Change Requests (CR), ensuring on-time completion and proactive escalation of risks.
  • Own and track assigned actions resulting from FMEA, LT, or CR, providing clear status updates to project stakeholders.
  • Play an active role during testing and commissioning phases of new initiatives, supporting execution on production lines.
  • Analyze incidents identified during trials and propose technically sound countermeasures, escalating complex issues when required.
  • Verify solution effectiveness to ensure stable, repeatable, and robust line performance.
  • Ensure technical documentation related to assigned initiatives is complete, accurate, and released on time (setting cards, handbooks, drawings, technical reports).
  • Participate in training and knowledge transfer sessions with Operations to ensure correct execution and sustainability of implemented solutions.
