About The Position

The Ingredient Scaler r ole at the Carrollton location provides support to the Production team , Responsible for packing acceptable product and/or icing i nto appropriate cans at the production line flow. Locate and verify correct scaling formula. Check scale for proper calibration. Accurately scale ingredients according to establish formulas. Keep bins filled with proper ingredients as needed. Keep ample supply of scaled ingredients in the racks in the mixing area. Relieve the Head Mixer and Mixer Helper for breaks. (Refer to appropriate job description for duties and responsibilities). Adhere to good manufacturing practices to prevent product contamination. Comply with FDA, OSHA, EPA and all other regulatory agencies. Work overtime as . Employee must perform any other duties or assigned as needed. Important D etails : T his is a full - time permanent role on 2nd shift, which operates from 10 :00 p m to 6 : 3 0a m Monday through Friday with some Saturdays . Shift differential included.

Requirements

• High School graduate or GED equivalent experience
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations to count product and fill orders.
