About The Position

About the Role: The Ingredient Scaler role at the Carrollton location provides support to the Production team, Responsible for packing acceptable product and/or icing into appropriate cans at the production line flow. Locate and verify correct scaling formula. Check scale for proper calibration. Accurately scale ingredients according to establish formulas. Keep bins filled with proper ingredients as needed. Keep ample supply of scaled ingredients in the racks in the mixing area. Relieve the Head Mixer and Mixer Helper for breaks. (Refer to appropriate job description for duties and responsibilities). Adhere to good manufacturing practices to prevent product contamination. Comply with FDA, OSHA, EPA and all other regulatory agencies. Work overtime as required. Employee must perform any other duties required or assigned as needed.
Important Details: This is a full-time permanent role on 2nd shift, which operates from 10:00 pm to 6:30am Monday through Friday with some Saturdays. Shift differential included.

Requirements

• High School graduate or GED equivalent experience in order to possess the following:
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations to count product and fill orders.
