Location Description The Lawrence, Kansas facility is 236,000 square feet and home to about 155 hard working team members who are proud to produce iconic pet food brands like Kibbles 'n Bits®. Lawrence is a college town and the home to both the University of Kansas and Haskell Indian Nations University with Kansas State University about 85 miles away. The city is known for a thriving music and art scene and is also the home of the University of Kansas athletic teams. Ingredient Operator The Post Consumer Brands facility in Lawrence, KS operates on a 24/7 production schedule. Team members will work: C Shift - Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and every other Friday 6:00am-6:00pm

Requirements

  • Possess a high school diploma or a GED
  • Ability to comply with a strict attendance policy
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability and willingness to communicate with cross functional teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in food manufacturing preferred

Responsibilities

  • Receive and unload bulk ingredients from rail cars and trucks
  • Perform accurate, timely tests on incoming ingredients to ensure quality assurance and food safety
  • Operate grinding and mixing equipment
  • Maintain equipment to reduce/eliminate downtime
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary and orderly work area to ensure employee and food safety
