About The Position

Cold Spring Brewing, with roots dating back to 1874, is a leader in contract beverage production, serving customers nationwide from state-of-the-art facilities. They are one of the most diverse and flexible beverage manufacturers in the country, producing a wide range of beverages from teas and energy drinks to malt-based products. This full-time position is responsible for assembling kits for the production plant, which includes pre-weighing ingredients, tracking inventory, and following detailed instructions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and interpret in English.
  • Have a strong mechanical background and ability to troubleshoot
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP or other inventory management systems
  • Experience with GMP and/or HACCP regulations
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a high-speed Production environment
  • Knowledge working in Outlook, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and use of customer portals

Responsibilities

  • Pre-weigh Ingredients following specific recipes.
  • Batches soft drinks and energy drinks.
  • Maintains cleanliness of areas responsible for.
  • Monitors activities in area of responsibility at all times during shift.
  • Ensures that every detail and specification of each product is met.
  • Is responsible to follow recipes and directions, “to the letter”
  • Conducts physical counts on customer owned inventories
  • Must learn and apply new processes and procedures in area of responsibility.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Lead.
  • Adhere to and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices as outlined in Employee Handbook.
  • Adhere to and comply with quality production and Food Safety.
