About The Position

The Infusion Therapy Registered Nurse - Rheumatology role is responsible for providing high quality patient and family centered care in accordance with the scope of practice defined by the Maine State Board of Nursing.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required.
• Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification required within 3 months of start date.
• Oncology Nurse Certification (OCN) preferred, or must obtain within 3 years of start date.
• Three years of relevant acute clinical experience required with one year oncology experience preferred.
• May be needed to work at both Waldo and Pen Bay Cancer Care departments.
