About The Position

Infusion RN Supervisor under Providence Portland Medical Center with work location at Providence Newberg Medical Center Satellite Clinic. This is a Full-Time (1.0 FTE), Day Shift position, with four (4) 10-Hour Shifts weekly. This position is based at a satellite clinic located in the Providence Newberg Medical Center Campus, but it is part of the Providence Portland Medical Center (PPMC) system. The Supervisor Infusion RN coordinates and manages the Infusion RN staff and the clinical workflows and activities within the clinic/infusion center. This position functions as a integral member of the leadership team, bringing the professional nursing perspective to the group and upholding the standards of nursing practice. Oversees the care provided by Infusion RNs and initiates efforts to improve the quality and skill levels of the clinical staff members. Leads clinical staff to ensure that patient care services are provided in an efficient, safe, and timely manner that is sensitive to the patient's physical, psychological and spiritual needs. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or other national infusion certification within 6 months (180 days) of hire
  • 3 years of Direct patient care in Infusion.
  • 1 year of Supervisory experience.
  • Clinical experience in triage principles of patient assessment.
  • Experience in delegation of nursing responsibilities to licensed and unlicensed personnel.
