Infusion Registered Nurse, GI – Part-Time, Cooper City, Florida
About The Position
As a Part-Time Infusion RN with Gastro Health, you will play a vital role in the care of patients living with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Our Infusion Nurses interact with patients daily and provide compassionate, high-quality clinical care in a supportive outpatient setting. At the end of each day, our team goes home knowing they made a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. In this role, you will administer biologic infusion therapies while collaborating closely with physicians and the broader care team to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered treatment.
Requirements
- Current Florida RN license (required)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience preferred
- Infusion and IV experience required; biologic infusion experience strongly preferred
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and patient-care skills
Responsibilities
- Administer biologic medications to IBD patients in an outpatient infusion setting
- Assess patients before, during, and after infusions
- Monitor for and respond to infusion reactions or adverse events
- Accurately document medical information and infusion records in eCW
- Coordinate care with physicians and clinical team members
- Provide education and reassurance to patients and families
- Deliver excellent customer service in a calm, professional environment
