Local Infusion is seeking an Infusion Nurse passionate about elevating infusion therapy care. This role involves providing direct patient care at their clinic in Springfield, VA, ensuring the highest level of care. The ideal candidate has experience working autonomously, starting IVs, and working with biologic drugs. This position offers predictable hours, autonomy, and a manageable workload with a consistent 3:1 patient to clinician ratio, allowing nurses to stay at the forefront of healthcare innovation.

Requirements

Current RN licensure in VA, and open to getting licensure in another state
Experience in outpatient infusion therapy, working in a clinical setting, seeing multiple patients at one time
Comfortable working autonomously, inserting 5+ peripheral IVs per shift
Current BLS CPR certification
Excellent IV skills
Experience and strong familiarity utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
Ability to work 1 to 2 Saturday's a month

ACLS & PALS Certification
Infusion therapy experience

Responsibilities

Assess and document the health status of the patient
Deliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and organization guidelines
Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies
Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers, such as order clarification, patient status, and plan of care
Provide onsite supervision for all patients
