The Infusion Tech is responsible for assisting nurses and other healthcare professionals in providing infusion therapy to patients. This includes preparing equipment, monitoring patients during treatments and ensuring the overall comfort and well-being of patients. The clinical tech will also be responsible for performing pre-analytical processes associated with collection and processing of oncology laboratory specimens. Has thorough knowledge of test requirements and specimen processing. Demonstrates a commitment to client experience, quality, and safety. A positive attitude and commitment to teamwork are essential.

Requirements

• Graduate of a medical assisting program.
• Passed the CMA/RMA Certification Examination of the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or American Medical Technologists.
• Maintain currency of the CMA/RMA Credential.
• 1 year in a health care setting.
• MT CMA Certification.
• BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• Phlebotomy experience.
• LPN certification.
