About The Position

The Infrastructure Support Specialist at Lebanon Valley College plays a crucial role in supporting the Information Technology team by managing the campus network, servers, and help desk operations. This position is essential for maintaining infrastructure and security operations, ensuring that users have the necessary access and support for their technological needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary training in a computer-related field preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support through account creation and directory maintenance for email and file access.
• Assist the infrastructure team with patching and server maintenance.
• Act as the first level of support for users, diagnosing and repairing college-owned networking and server equipment.
• Document account creation, termination, and access controls.
• Support users of the campus network servers and the Internet, including remote access servers.
• Coordinate network services to residence halls and supervise student network assistants.
• Serve as the on-site technical coordinator for the college's systems and related services.
• Be available to work some evenings and weekends.
