Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in IT infrastructure support, preferably within a large, complex organization.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.).
  • Familiarity with enterprise-level software, including database management systems, virtualization platforms, and backup solutions.
  • Experience with cloud services (preferably with providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) best practices and tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or similar.
  • Proven experience in managing and maintaining server, storage, and network infrastructure.
  • Experience with security tools and protocols, including antivirus software, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
  • Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure to resolve critical issues.

Responsibilities

  • Providing end-to-end support to users for desktop/laptop systems, printers, software, and other peripherals.
  • Overseeing the maintenance of servers, network components, and storage systems.
  • Liaising with external vendors for IT-related services, including procurement, service contracts, and vendor relations.
  • Implementing and managing disaster recovery processes to minimize downtime in case of system failures or cyber attacks.
  • Maintaining up-to-date records of IT assets, configurations, changes, and procedures.
  • Ensuring all systems comply with security policies and standards.
  • Contributing to IT projects as needed, including planning, testing, and implementation phases.
  • Providing guidance and training to end-users on new technologies or processes.
  • Ensuring all IT operations adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Identifying opportunities for improving IT processes and services.
