The team delivers high-quality information through activities that include development of essential, building infrastructure capabilities to meet client needs and implementing data standards and governance. The Enterprise Scheduling organization is responsible for the end-to-end management of the Batch Scheduling environment. Our primary objective is to deliver flexible, scalable scheduling capabilities through self-service and automation, while consistently enforcing established best practices to reduce risk and accelerate enterprise-wide automation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Strong Linux Administration (Minimum 3 years’ experience)
  • Independently install, upgrade, customize and integrate all components of Autosys
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Distributed Scheduling
  • Provide On Call support (On Call)
  • Conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing
  • Identify ideas to improve system performance and impact availability
  • Create and publish system documentation

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the Autosys job scheduling environment.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Autosys job failures and performance issues.
  • Develop and implement job schedules, ensuring optimal performance and resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with application development teams to define job requirements and dependencies.
  • Provide support for job scheduling issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Implement and maintain job scheduling standards and best practices.
  • Create and maintain documentation for job scheduling processes and procedures.
  • Participate in on-call support rotation for job scheduling issues
  • Coordinate and support Automation deployments
  • Support the management of risks, issues, and dependencies across scheduling environments
  • Follow all change management procedures
  • Install, Upgrade or Patch Scheduling (Autosys) Products
  • Support outages in the scheduling space
