About The Position
As an Infrastructure Services Analyst at DXC Technology, you will play a crucial role in providing foundational technical support within our infrastructure services team. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with routine tasks and infrastructure projects, participating in basic monitoring and troubleshooting of infrastructure systems, and collaborating with team members to address daily operational challenges. You will also support the creation and maintenance of infrastructure documentation, which is essential for ensuring smooth operations and knowledge sharing within the team. In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop and improve your technical skills through on-the-job experience, demonstrating your eagerness to learn and gain expertise in infrastructure services. You will follow established best practices and standards in service delivery, ensuring that all tasks are performed efficiently and effectively. Your role will involve providing console operations and monitoring for z/TPF systems, responding to system messages and alerts, and escalating issues to other support groups as necessary. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and executing ITIL-based incident, problem, and change tickets, as well as maintaining detailed ITIL-driven documentation related to the processes and procedures specific to the z/TPF systems operated for multiple clients. You will participate in hardware-related changes in the z/TPF environment, including installations, upgrades, and decommissions, while controlling and setting processing limits of z/TPF CPUs and components.
