About The Position

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a strategic, mission-driven Infrastructure Program Director for Main Campus. This leader will oversee infrastructure operations of Buildings + Design to ensure alignment with the mission, values and objectives of the department and organization. As Infrastructure Program Director, you will coordinate and integrate the sustainment, restoration and modernization of Cleveland Clinic facilities infrastructure across all geographical areas. Develops and executes Infrastructure recapitalization programs for the organization and oversees planned facility acquisitions for infrastructure operations and management issues, planning and design. A caregiver in this position works a hybrid schedule, Monday-Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM, with four days on-site and one remote day per week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) or Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) required.
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in the facilities management and/or facilities contracting field required.
  • Offset: Associate’s degree plus twelve years of experience in the facilities management and/or facilities contracting field.
  • Demonstrated experience and a proven record of operational effectiveness in a fast-paced office requiring a great deal of accuracy under moderate to high pressure.
  • Must have the ability to identify facility infrastructure deficiencies and be able to evaluate the severity, corrective action required, and alternative methods to resolve or mitigate.
  • Must be able to work with staff members, interdepartmental teams, and organizational leadership across the enterprise to accomplish goals.

Nice To Haves

  • Registered Architect (RA) through state of employment preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) through state of employment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Infrastructure Program through the cross-functional Infrastructure Committee.
  • Initiate and sustain Facility Condition Assessments to assist with multi-year programming.
  • Develop and implement practices, policies and procedures in functional areas of the department.
  • Lead the staffing and capacity planning for the department.
  • Lead the development and monitoring of, and compliance with, the departmental budgets, including capital, operating and construction budgets.
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable statutory, regulatory and administrative requirements relative to departmental operations and ensure departmental compliance.
