It will also provide relevant business experience to develop skills and capabilities needed to perform as an entry-level, full-time employee within your field. Through this opportunity, interns should expect more than just gaining work experience, you will participate in social activities, volunteer activities, and a wide variety of fun events helping in personal and professional growth.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Technical College or Undergraduate (Bachelor’s Degree) program.
  • Program of study should be focused in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Project Management, or equivalent.
  • Preference will be given to candidates in their 2nd year of schooling or above.

Responsibilities

  • Gains fundamental knowledge of various system and networking technologies such as Microsoft Azure, SD-WAN, wireless, Active Directory, storage, switching, and server management.
  • Partners with engineers to perform administrative and support work in our systems and networking environment.
  • Participates in infrastructure related projects within our infrastructure related to cloud solutions, infrastructure-as-code, and disaster recovery.
  • Learns about various roles within Information Technology that include Application Development, System Management, Network Management, and Project Management.
  • Learns fundamental business concepts to grow overall business acumen.
  • Supports FTI’s Culture of Care which promotes an environment that is safe, welcoming for all team members, and creates a sense of belonging.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
  • Actively participates in Faith’s hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.
