About The Position

At Jones Edmunds, we support our teams and clients through reliable, secure, and well-managed technology systems. We’re seeking an Infrastructure Manager to oversee the delivery, administration, and continuous improvement of the firm’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, workstations, and cloud services. This role focuses on ensuring system availability, performance, and security while managing infrastructure operations, supporting technical staff, and executing IT initiatives aligned with established strategies and budgets.

Requirements

  • Education: BS in Computer Science or a related field; relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • Experience: Minimum 12 years of progressive, related experience.
  • Other: Valid driver’s license with an acceptable MVR.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications: None required; certifications related to networking, servers, cloud platforms, or Microsoft technologies preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations for network, server, storage, and cloud environments.
  • Ensure system uptime, patch compliance, and successful backups across all infrastructure components.
  • Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes to maintain service stability.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, runbooks, and infrastructure asset inventories.
  • Provide guidance to technical staff supporting infrastructure systems and services.
  • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to IT standards and service-level agreements.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex infrastructure-related issues and coordinate resolution efforts.
  • Monitor system performance and address capacity or reliability concerns.
  • Execute infrastructure projects and upgrades as directed by IT leadership.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and cost efficiency within operational scope.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, patching schedules, backup procedures, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Manage relationships with infrastructure vendors and service providers, including licensing compliance and renewals.
  • Ensure monitoring and alerting tools are properly configured and maintained.
  • Collaborate with departmental stakeholders to align business applications with established technical capabilities.
