About The Position
Pacific Life is actively seeking a talented Infrastructure Equity Analyst to join our Infrastructure Investment Team in Newport Beach, CA. This role is hybrid, allowing employees to work both in and out of the office. As an Infrastructure Equity Analyst with Pacific Life Investments (PLI), you will collaborate closely with the Infrastructure Investment team to analyze, evaluate, and recommend infrastructure equity investments that meet the portfolio's risk and return objectives on behalf of Pacific Life's General Account. The infrastructure equity team manages a rapidly growing portfolio of over $1 billion of AUM. You will fill a new role on the Infrastructure Investment Team, which currently consists of five investment professionals housed within the Private Assets department of PLI. Your direct colleagues will include seasoned Infrastructure and Project Finance professionals investing in both fixed income and equity opportunities. In this position, you will be responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and executing infrastructure equity fund investments and direct co-investments. This includes performing detailed financial analysis and modeling, participating in investment committee meetings, and actively monitoring the existing portfolio to track performance and identify trends. You will also develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including infrastructure equity sponsors, senior level executives, legal counsel, investment bankers, and consultants.
