About The Position

Overview: Citizant is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer for IT Infrastructure and Cloud Services to join our team. This is an on-site position in Glynco, Georgia. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing scalable IT infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS platforms, as well as a strong background in cloud and network security.

Requirements

7 to 10 years of experience in infrastructure and security engineering, with a proven track record of managing complex IT environments.
Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, networking, and cloud services.
Strong understanding of security principles and best practices in cloud environments, with hands-on experience in Azure and AWS security configurations.
Proficiency in automation tools and techniques for infrastructure management, such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues promptly.
Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively in an on-site, cross-functional team environment, leading projects and initiatives that enhance infrastructure security and performance.
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate
U.S. Citizenship is required to be considered
Active Public Trust or have the ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage scalable IT infrastructure solutions across on-premises and cloud environments, with a focus on Microsoft Azure and AWS.
Ensure the security and efficiency of IT infrastructure by integrating best practices and technologies in cloud security, network security, and system management.
Perform routine infrastructure audits and provide recommendations to improve security and performance, aligned with industry standards and organizational goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enforce IT infrastructure policies, ensuring compliance with security frameworks and optimizing system performance.
Oversee the migration of legacy systems to cloud platforms, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
Provide expert guidance on the selection and implementation of advanced infrastructure technologies and tools to meet evolving business needs.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to safeguard organizational data and infrastructure.
