The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for planning, installing, documenting, and supporting the IT infrastructure. This role requires an understanding of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures in infrastructure technologies. This includes, but is not limited to, enterprise storage, compute, networking, virtualization, load balancing, firewalling, and backups. The Infrastructure Engineer proactively identifies areas for improvement, participates in problem identification and resolution, and ensures optimal system performance, high availability, and reliability.
