About The Position

We are seeking a Junior Infrastructure Engineer for a role that is heavily focused on customer service and IT support. This position requires strong communication skills, organization, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal business partners. The role is centered on maintaining high levels of customer service while providing internal IT support. Strong interpersonal skills and a service‑oriented mindset are essential. Role Overview This position will involve: Responding to questions from internal business partners Accessing and reviewing internal client data Supporting IT asset management systems Organizing and auditing hardware inventories Researching hardware warranty status Reviewing service requests and submitting security access requests Assisting business units and advisors with IT‑related questions and needs All work will involve internal systems and information only. Comprehensive in‑house training on systems and business processes will be provided, with an expected training ramp-up period of approximately four months. Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities Supporting new equipment rollouts, including imaging, software installation, and device migrations Handling technical inquiries via phone, email, instant messaging, and walk‑up support Assisting business partners with troubleshooting and general IT support needs Technologies & Systems Used Windows Operating System Microsoft Office Proprietary enterprise applications Laptops, desktops, iPads, and mobile devices Citrix Receiver / XenDesktop / XenApp Cisco networking (LAN / WAN / Wireless)

Requirements

  • Relevant internship or professional experience in IT customer service, IT support, or IT troubleshooting
  • Experience providing face‑to‑face technical support
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time‑management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy
  • Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals at all organizational levels
  • Adaptability and comfort with change
  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field

Nice To Haves

  • Call center or customer service experience
  • Ability to clearly articulate technical steps and solutions (e.g., explaining how to set up a printer in a concise, understandable way)
