The Infrastructure Engineer role in the Mainframe OS/ISV team, within the Mainframe and Midrange Compute (MMC) organization, is responsible for planning, designing, installation, configuration, and support of highly resilient and stable Mainframe infrastructure employing automated scripting where feasible. The candidate must possess strong Mainframe Systems Programming including a deep understanding of z/OS Concepts, JCL, JES, SDSF, VSAM, Catalog management, SMP/E, USS, Parallel Sysplex, IBM system utilities and some of the IBM/Broadcom CA/ BMC Compuware software artifacts. Additionally, experience with software-driven systems management using scripting languages such as JCL, REXX, Python, Unix Shell scripting, and zOSMF Workflows is desired.
