About The Position

As an intern on our team, you will maintain and develop a research-oriented lab environment, administer the systems to maintain these environments, and embed with researchers to ensure their needs are being met. You will be on the front lines of issues which impact the day-to-day operations of research in the AI space. You’ll experience a wide variety of technologies in support of AI engineering projects. As a member of the AI Division, you will work on leading edge technologies and apply them to important and challenging problems. The work environment is dynamic and flexible, with constant opportunities to develop new skills, learn about new software frameworks and techniques, work on emerging architectures and systems, and make a difference.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a degree granting program.
  • You will be subject to a background check and must be eligible to work in the United States without Visa sponsorship.
  • Able to work onsite 5 days per week in the SEI Pittsburgh office

Nice To Haves

  • Networking Fundamentals
  • Linux Experience - RHEL preferred
  • Virtualization Experience – Docker / Kubernetes preferred
  • Experience scripting and automating systems
  • Experience with modern software languages such as Python and C/C++
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact collaboratively and diplomatically with customers and colleagues
