About The Position
The Infrastructure Engineer III position is responsible for finding, designing, configuring, developing, and implementing software and hardware solutions. The Infrastructure Engineer III also contributes towards the implementation of a broad range of large enterprise infrastructure projects and should possess project management abilities. Design, build, implement and maintain solutions to support operations using Linux and Wintel systems. Designs and builds environments include but not limited to fabric SAN, iSCSI SAN, Nutanix, VMWare ESX, Rack mount servers, and Server blades and Chassis. Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes. Document adjustments made to hardware and software as well as provide documentation for new systems, as needed. Designs, builds, and implements solutions to support a Data Center environment for the recoverability of the primary data center. Provides backup and assistance to team members. Comply with validation requirements, standard-operating procedures (SOP), and change control maintenance for product life cycle. Performs other related duties as assigned.
