About The Position

As an Infrastructure Engineer III-Mainframe Security Infrastructure at JPMorgan Chase, you will be a part of the Corporate Sector-Mainframe Security Engineering team. Your role will involve contributing to the integration of Enterprise mainframe platforms and associated hardware/software appliances into the broader Security ecosystem. You will collaborate with a team of like-minded engineers to achieve the function's objectives while providing security insights and perspectives to the team, in alignment with the modernization agenda.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
  • Experience in configuring and managing the mainframe security products across a large sysplex mainframe environment primarily utilizing ACF2.
  • Design and manage controls to secure and monitor mainframe system resources and data.
  • Managing mainframe security certificates.
  • Advanced knowledge of Broadcom ACF2.
  • Experience with core z/OS utilities, functions, and languages - TSO, ISPF, JES, SDSF, etc.
  • Experience with at least one common Mainframe language - JCL, CARLa, REXX, CLISTs, SAS, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced knowledge of IBM RACF.
  • Experience with IBM zSecure.
  • Experience with PKI and implementation/support of X509 digital certificates.
  • Experience with Broadcom Trusted Access Manager for z (TAMz).
  • Previous experience working in financial services industry.
  • RACF experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Applies technical knowledge to assignments with a defined scope such as testing the performance of the infrastructure and understanding and verifying that requirements were successfully met.
  • Drives results, collects and analyzes monitoring data in test and production, and sees assignments through to completion.
  • Carries out day to day work assignments with some guidance and within documented parameters.
  • Escalates issues to appropriate leaders.
  • Develops considerations for upstream/downstream data and systems or technical implications.
