About The Position

Topgolf is seeking an infrastructure support engineer to help support all production venues. This individual will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to network, servers, and other infrastructure in venues and offices. Essential Functions Implements opportunities to automate system tasks. Writes documentation regarding current policies, procedures and updates. Creates diagrams, including network and system designs. Adds, updates, and closes records in the IT Problem Management and Change Management databases. Troubleshoots and resolve complex infrastructure incidents. Thoroughly understands and complies with IT policies and procedures. Especically those for quality and productivity standards that enable the team to meet established client service levels. Thoroughly understands and complies with Information Security policies and procedures. Participates in special projects and performs other related duties as assigned. Coordinates with vendors to resolve software, hardware, or system incidents.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge in virtualization of servers including VMware tool suite (ESXi, vCenter, vROPS, vRNI, vRB, Horizon, etc.)
  • Advanced networking expertise including firewalls, VPNs, Switching, routing, IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN/WLAN, and cabling.
  • Knowledge in Data replication strategy and Data back-up technologies.
  • Knowledge in Application Load Balancing.
  • Advanced knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy. As well as knowledge in Azure (Entra ID, Endpoint manager, etc.)
  • Expert Knowledge in Operating Systems (Windows desktop and server OS and ubuntu)
  • Working understanding of code and scripting (PowerShell) for automation.
  • Strong analysis and problem solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, necessary for collaborating with clients and team members.
