Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration or another related field.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Construction Management on transit projects of at least $30 million.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in the management of major construction contracts of similar size and scope.
  • Valid California Class C driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with EV charging infrastructure projects is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety of Client employees, State employees, and Contractor employees.
  • Act as the Owner’s representative in all matters related to the project, overseeing and managing all project staff, daily field and office activities, and all ancillary functions of the project.
  • Support Client executive management in the execution of the project.
  • Monitor the project schedule and budget, reporting as required to Client executive leadership, and manage the project to maintain quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Assist in the oversight of all engineering, construction, quality, safety, environmental, third-party, and community outreach functions.
  • Represent the Client in the community and with public agencies, maintain the project safety culture, and provide oversight to ensure zero lost-time incidents on the project.
  • Protect the interests of the traveling public and the Client at all times.
  • Ensure conformance with all Client contract documents.
  • Perform constructability reviews and provide comments on design packages.
