Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil) or construction management, environmental science, or equivalent degree.
  • 1-2 years of construction project management experience.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, or Primavera.

Responsibilities

  • Support project managers in planning, budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration in owner's representative assignments.
  • Provide project coordination, field work, and quality control during construction or abatement phases of projects.
  • Prepare bidding documents, plans, and specifications for asbestos removal projects and perform asbestos surveys.
  • Handle written correspondence and record keeping for assigned projects and client communications for progress reporting and project coordination.
  • Report project issues to project managers and liaise with project leads to maintain project schedule and budget.
  • Function as project manager on small projects, working independently under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager.
  • Supervise subcontractors and employees on assigned projects and mentor junior staff.
  • Oversee variable aspects of projects and provide direct assistance to ensure timely project execution.
  • Track budget and review invoices, ensuring project goals are achievable and assigning duties to staff as needed.
  • Review project implementation, gather data on project execution, and coordinate with project managers following project execution.
  • Provide project oversight and quality control during the abatement phase of removal projects and conduct air monitoring as needed.
  • Prepare project schedules, cost reports, specifications, and drawings, and reproduce and assemble project documents.
  • Market services offered by the company and prepare proposals for new business opportunities.

Benefits

  • Compensation range of $64,000 - $81,000 a year, depending on various factors including location, role, skill set, and experience.
