About The Position

The Infrastructure Architect at CACI is responsible for automating the provisioning and management of infrastructure to support the mission objectives of U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). This role involves designing, developing, and implementing infrastructure automation processes, ensuring security compliance, and enhancing the efficiency of software delivery through integration with CI/CD pipelines. The position requires a strong background in infrastructure management and automation, along with leadership skills to mentor and guide teams.

Requirements

  • Must hold an active Top Secret clearance and be SCI eligible.
  • MA/MS and 10+ years of relevant experience -or- BA/BS and 12+ years of relevant experience.
  • Current DoD 8140 - IAT II Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+)
  • Solution architecture or solution development experience
  • Strong professional leadership traits, including experience mentoring, advising, and coaching customer and internal teams.
  • Familiarity of DOD and commercial enterprise environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree
  • Cloud and DODAF experience
  • ITIL 4 Foundations certification
  • Working knowledge of SAFe/Agile best practices
  • Experience with cross-domain or multi-domain classification principles and technologies
  • Familiarity with IC/DoD Zero Trust and cybersecurity initiatives, architectures, direction, and solutions
  • Prior experience supporting USSOCOM.

Responsibilities

  • Specializes in automating the provisioning and management of infrastructure using code.
  • Designs, develops, and implements infrastructure automation processes, using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and platform specific templates.
  • Automates the deployment, monitoring, and scaling of applications, ensuring infrastructure can handle varying loads efficiently.
  • Manages and maintains infrastructure configurations, ensuring consistency and reducing the risk of configuration drift.
  • Continuously monitors the performance of infrastructure to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Implements security best practices and ensures compliance with relevant regulations, protecting the infrastructure from potential threats.
  • Works closely with development and operations teams to integrate infrastructure automation into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Creates and maintains detailed documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and automation scripts.
