We are currently seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect with OpenShift to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in OpenShift Cluster design, performance tuning, automation, and capacity planning, as well as experience in infrastructure technologies. This position involves providing technical leadership, working directly with clients, and delivering robust, scalable solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role within a service-oriented company, demonstrating an ability to understand customer needs, build relationships, and deliver exceptional service.
  • Strong knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes (3-5 years of experience required).
  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, and Git.
  • Strong technical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, API development, microservices architecture, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Kibana is a plus but not required.
  • Experience in Financial Services is a bonus.
  • 10+ years of strong experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, and delivery management.
  • 5+ years of strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with cross-functional teams and technical solution delivery.
  • Expertise in financial or banking sectors is a plus, particularly in designing scalable solutions.
  • Proven experience building long-term client relationships with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Innovative mindset and a passion for exploring creative solutions while effectively managing risk.

Responsibilities

  • Design, set up, and manage OpenShift clusters, including performance tuning and capacity planning.
  • Automate tasks within OpenShift utilizing tools like Jenkins, Git, and Ansible.
  • Diagnose and resolve pod-related issues in OpenShift environments.
  • Configure monitoring on OpenShift clusters using Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, providing support and technical guidance.
  • Create and maintain internal documentation for compliance and knowledge transfer.
  • Collaborate with the Architecture team, taking ownership of specific project tasks. This includes estimating timelines, delivering on schedule, and adjusting when needed.
  • Anticipate potential risks and identify opportunities for optimization throughout the project lifecycle.
