This role not only ensures operational excellence but also acts as a strategic advisor to clients, identifying opportunities for additional projects and services that drive mutual success.

  • Practical experience with EDR, SIEM, vulnerability management, MFA, and security policy enforcement.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, CIS benchmarks).
  • Demonstrated success in managing technical platforms and tooling such as RMM, PSA, and security stacks (e.g., Autotask, NinjaOne, SentinelOne).
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and client communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, client-facing environments with shifting priorities.
  • Relevant certifications required in at least one core area—such as Azure Administrator, AWS SysOps, Fortinet NSE 4+, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations across infrastructure (cloud, network, systems) and cybersecurity functions.
  • Align technical delivery with business and client needs, ensuring up time, scalability, and security.
  • Proactively seek to understand client needs and propose enhancements or new projects that align with their business objectives.
  • Manage and mentor team members and Team Leads; set goals, provide feedback, and support development.
  • Oversee project execution including migrations, deployments, and security implementations.
  • Drive proactive improvements across patching, monitoring, automation, and risk management.
  • Serve as a key escalation point for technical and client-related infrastructure/security issues.
  • Collaborate with Service Desk, Project, and Account teams to ensure seamless delivery and communication.
  • Participate in client-facing meetings to provide technical insight, planning, and recommendations.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and threats; recommend tooling and process enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external standards (e.g., CIS, SOC2).
