About The Position

The Infrastructure Administrator is responsible for system design, build, testing, validation, maintenance, and ongoing support of all infrastructure components. This position is also responsible for implementing appropriate technologies and processes to ensure data integrity, disaster recovery, and security of all infrastructure. The Infrastructure Administrator is an active team member performing other duties as needed, including Tier 2 Service Desk escalation, project resourcing, operational support, and advanced troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • Four-year college degree with a major in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • Five years of experience as an infrastructure administrator.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server and Workstation based software.
  • Knowledge of virtual computing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for user support.

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft Certifications in M365 or Azure.
  • VMWare VCP/VCAP.
  • Nutanix NCA/NCP.
  • Cisco CCNA/CCNP.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, validate and maintain detailed system configurations.
  • Upgrade software/applications as required on an ongoing basis.
  • Create, update, and maintain systems and application documentation.
  • Maintain user configurations, software, printers, server profiles, group membership, and login scripts.
  • Manage, upgrade, and modify security standards.
  • Research and test desktop application upgrades before implementation.
  • Review and implement approved change requests to the systems.
  • Perform or arrange for repair of equipment; manage third party support and repair.
  • Demonstrate systems and application expertise during workflow design and validation sessions.
  • Perform integrated application testing using structured test scripts.
  • Coordinate and troubleshoot application/system issue tracking.
  • Ensure system documentation and knowledge base articles are maintained.
  • Monitor system performance and report potential issues.
  • Remain current with trends in healthcare technology.
  • Lift 50 pounds, sit or stand for extended periods, and operate a computer terminal.
  • Report employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Identify potential risk areas and support problem resolution.
