The IT Technician position involves providing support and maintenance for end-user infrastructure.   • Identify problems and repair printers, copiers, and scanners.
  • Diagnose software and hardware problems.

  • Track, prioritize, and document requests using an IT support request system.
  • Install and configure new computers and other IT equipment.
  • Perform regular updates of servers.
  • Keep track of IT supplies and equipment, e.g., cables and adapters.
  • Provide technical direction and recommendations to improve utilization.
  • Review records and reports of production machine malfunctions and maintenance.
  • Assist with testing of new software releases, vendor modifications, upgrades, and patches.
  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in IT support.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills.
  • Typing speed of 50 words per minute or more.
  • Ability to troubleshoot multifaceted problems in a systematic manner.
