About The Position

The Information Technology Systems Support Specialist role involves providing advanced system support in a desktop, applications, and field environment. The position is primarily focused on troubleshooting and maintaining IT equipment and software, ensuring effective support for enterprise systems and business applications. This is a contract position based in Rancho Cordova, CA, with a high likelihood of extensions, and requires the candidate to work onsite.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support roles.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems including Windows 10; Windows 11 is a plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 products.
• Experience with imaging software and automated imaging processes.
• Understanding of principles and practices of customer service.
• Ability to troubleshoot computer system hardware and software problems.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and perform repairs on information technology equipment and software.
• Perform complex duties related to troubleshooting, configuring, performing diagnostics and assignment specific desktop and network hardware and software issues and respond appropriately to customer service requests.
• Operate, maintain and perform repairs on personal computers and peripherals.
• Assist with imaging, set up, and deployment for a PC/Laptop telework deployment and monitor upgrades.
• Provide 2nd level help desk support.
• Lift equipment that weighs up to 50 pounds.
• Have a valid California Driver's License, Class C.
